Loot Collection Guide

So far, I’ve found that the main chapters are broken into areas. Once you’ve left an area, there is no way to return. This means that you might have missed some loot and the only way to to get it is to load a manual save (if you have one) or restart the level. Personally, I find this very frustrating! In order to help, I’ve created a list with an entry for each “point of no return”. Each lists the amount of the different types of loot you should have before leaving the area, and where the area ends. If your amounts match, then you can leave knowing it has been cleared. Otherwise, you can keep searching!
To check your progress of collectibles, loot/gold and pockets picked before you leave an area, open the journal and go to Player Progression > Statistics. For documents and newspapers go to the Documents section in the journal.

Nice table, helped me a lot while playing the Prologue!
But it seems like you missed two pickable pockets in Area 6, Chapter 1. The two guards talking to another in front of the womans window have each one.
So the maximum Gold will be 616 G (with a total of 12 picked pockets).
Great work, I’m hoping for the next chapters!

Congratulations for your progress, and, as usual, it was nice sneaking around with your guidance 🙂
Maybe I missed something, but I think there is another point-of-no-return in Chapter 2. Right before you enter the Supervisor’s Office through the ventilation shaft you slide down a short slope. From this point on I wasn’t able to return to the combustion chamber.
If this can be confirmed the loot at this point will be 4 / 5 Collectibles, 67 / 71 Loot found, 15 / 15 Pockets picked, 0 Newspapers and 9 / 9 Documents.
@CrashMash (aka Checklist-Fixer General), I played Ch. 2 through twice because I missed something in Area 4 the first time (there is a gear in a hard to notice location…not to mention dangerous if you’re playing Ghost style). 😡 Anyway, I was pretty frustrated after not being able to collect everything on the first playthrough and I rushed through the second time. So, again, thank you for taking the time to let me know so I could fix it! The table is updated and the PDF will be updated later today.
I will be playing through Chapter 3 over the next few days (hopefully only once!)

Well, joking aside, I’m glad to help. And I know that feeling when you finally notice there’s something missing. Happened to me in Chapter 1 and so I went through the net and gladly found your page – so, perfectionist that I am, I played the Prologue a third or even fourth time just to get all the gold you mentioned here, hehe.
Sadly, the next few days I won’t be able to sneak further, but as soon as I’m able to go on I’ll work with your table and point out any inconsistencies I might find.
And, I’m just saying, Ghost-style is the only really way to play the game, eh? 😉
I do like getting the Ghost achievements, but I have to say, there is also something satisfying about running around carefree after blackjacking all the guards and civilians!
